Well, here we are in Week 6, and we’re not only discussing some great football games … but we’re watching as the East Coast battles with Hurricane Matthew.
As of our recording, it was unclear how many games would be impacted by the storm … and honestly, there are still questions about that even on Friday afternoon.
And so, for this week, we dive into a “Hurricane Round” of picks for three games that could be changed by the ever-changing weather conditions — LSU at Florida, Virginia Tech at North Carolina, and Florida State at Miami. (Spoiler alert: Crappy thinks it’s tough to pick against the Hurricanes when there’s an actual hurricane just off the coast.)
We also do a much deeper dive into two games that should be played under impeccable conditions … and will have big impacts on the postseason.
Tennessee at Texas A&M: Two teams that are nearly identical on paper. Will the Vols’ lucky streak continue? Or will the Aggies use home-field advantage to its, umm, advantage?
Alabama at Arkansas: It’s safe to say this is Bama’s first big SEC test of the season … literally, if you look at the size of Arkansas’ offensive line. Are the Hogs ready to finally step up in the SEC West? Or is this just another Roll Tide in the making?
Oh, and because having live animals on set is the new meme for college football pregame shows, we offer a special guest appearance to Crappy’s own Mr. Charlie … who makes quite the grand entrance.
For those of you on the East Coast, stay safe out there. And for the rest of you, enjoy the football.
