I went to a Pacers game at Conseco when I was in Indy for a conference a few years ago. The tallest living woman (at least in the U.S., I can’t remember, I just know her name was Sandy and she has since died) was at the game, rolling around the place in her motorized wheelchair. I’ve had a soft spot for it ever since.
It’s a nice facility. Hopefully they can keep it open.
I hope they keep them.
Also, totally unrelated, did you see Detlef Schrempf was on last week’s Parks & Rec?
I am fairly certain that Indiana losing its NBA franchise is one of the signs of the apocalypse.
I remain convinced that Detlef Schrempf is not a real name.
