About the author
Clay (aka Mayopie) is sure the Mayans have it all wrong and that Bruce Lee will actually resurrect in 2012, bringing peace via the impending threat of an almighty tiger claw from the heavens. It’s all in “The New Bible” which Clay is currently writing with a group of imaginary friends he calls his “Aposse.” Clay is in advertising where he convinces people to buy things. Watch this: The New Bible. If you don’t buy it, you’ll probably die.

    Yes, yes and yes.

I had the same reaction to the eagle yesterday and I was even happy for him for a minute (because a great shot is a great shot, which is the point, right?) and then I was all…whatever.

I watched a lot of it yesterday after hockey was over and Mickelson clearly played a consistently awesome round. He won, yes he did. Good for him.

I agree with you that Tiger has not changed much. He only learned how to cover his tracks better. I figured that out after seeing that sick Nike commercial. He has no respect for his own father. He thought it would be OK that he shortly takes a break from his “treatment” to try to win a major. No wonder. That was because he only (repeat only) cares how many majors he wins. The rest of tournaments are nothing to him. Luckily, his behaviour and his golf game left little doubt that he has a long road to redemption.

Thank God you wrote this. Tiger used to be thought of as a Class A golfer, now he’s just a Class A Asshole.

The thing that pisses me off about the whole thing is that EVERY (and I mean every) new report that I have seen has started out with Tiger and how he golfed. Uh, Phil had the round of his career (that every announcer didn’t seem to let us forget,) but yet it was still the All-Tiger-All-the-Time Show. Can we start ignoring Tiger now and focus on the players that win-PHIL, and the ones that value their families-PHIL, the ones that are humble-PHIL, and the ones that aren’t assholes-EVERYONE BUT TIGER?
