About the author
Goon Squad Sarah lives in the Washington D.C. suburbs and spends a lot of time obsessing about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Washington Capitals, fantasy football, and explaining to her seven year old twins why we don't root for the Redskins in our house. Sarah is also a sucker for the Orlando Magic and she is still trying to choose between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Washington Nationals. If you can't get enough of Sarah here you can also find her writing at Sarah and the Goon Squad, That's right. You heard me. BlogHer or a myriad of other sites depending on the day. She also sits on the advisory board of Women Talk Sports.

    Agreed.

If this was 5 years later and he had made serious amends, I *might* be interested in what he had to say. Less than a year? My ass.

  2. Gunfighter says:

I wouldn’t sweat it too hard, Sarah, BET sucks ass as a channel in the first place.

As for Michael Vick, we shouldn’t really be surprised… Americans seem to be schizophrenic about celebrities: We are angry if a politician gets laid on the side, but we will look the other way when a football hero is a murderer or a basketball player brandishes firearms around his teammates, in a city with very strict gun laws.

It’s crazy. Suffice it to say, I won’t be watching Mr. Vick’s show.
