I love Wrigley. But I’m probably impartial since I’m from Chicago and a Cubs fan. There is just something about walking up the stairs and looking out at the beautiful grass with the bricks and ivy in the outfield that takes my breath away. Every time. No other ballpark has ever really done that to me.
I have been wanting to go to Camden Yards since it opened.
Camden Yard is as good as the hype. Seriously.
Having been to 4 of your top 5 (and planning on hitting Wrigley next summer), I can say with authority: nicely done.
Btw: When you go to Fenway? Spring for good seats. Honestly, it makes a WORLD of difference, and if you end up in the RF grandstand seats – which often face center field, rather than home plate – you’ll end up bitter.
I cannot in anyway quibble with your #1. It’s a freakin’ cathedral…closest I ever want to get to a church. And TwoBusy is right…spring!
I’ve been to Fenway and it IS all it’s cracked up to be. You’ll love it.
