Testing did not begin until 2003. It was agreed upon that no one who tested positive in the first year of tests would be punished. MLB did not enact punishment for steroid use until 2005. So unless they can prove A-Rod used steroids in 2005-present, he can’t be punished.
I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just telling you why he wasn’t punished.
I feel better knowing that, but the whole thing just pisses me off.
He will not be held accountable, ever.
In other news, and not to dumb down the conversation, but Chris Robinson –> Alex Rodriguez is a head scratcher, yes?
