Welcome Gunfighter.
And WOW! You’re making the rest of us look bad.
Plus, I’m pretty sure that they play football in heaven.
You know, if there is a heaven.
There IS a heaven, Sarah… and Saint Peter is the coach of the rugby team. Trust me on this, I know people.
Oh, and beleive me when I tell you that most of my posts won’t be this long.
Great article gunfighter. Just a small correction on the conversion. You can take it from any distance. It doesn’t have to be 22m back. Otherwise, very well explained.
And if anyone is interested, the laws of the game can be found here:

And if you want to see some action, just search for rugby on Youtube.com
Thanks, Julian… I thought I mad eht atclaer… No worries, I’ll correct that.
I’ve played many sports over the years: football, basketball and track was the Holy Trinity for me in Little League. I also raced BMX bikes and rode my skateboard on ramps and in ditches. High school found me discovering lacrosse but it was in college that I first discovered the true bliss that is rugby. I went on to play rugby on & off for almost a decade, and still to this day, it is by far my favorite sport to play or watch. Oh, and the stories I could tell about the parties…
Rugby is not only the sport of the Gods… it is also the sport of hard-core party monsters.
I kept waiting for the part where scrotums are lacerated. How come you didn’t mention that?
Welcome Gunfighter!
Greg has a point. The craziest parties I have ever been to were Rugby parties.
And that was at UCF.
Thanks for the welcome, Matthew… I thought it best to leave a discussion about scrotums until at least my fifth post.
